Cudgen Hornets
Cudgen Hornets is Kingscliff's local rugby league club named after the stretch of beach Kingscliff is located upon "Cudgen Beach."
The club was founded in 1950 and plays out of the Ned Byrne field at Kingscliff.
The club's logo is of a hornet and club colours are gold and green.
The hornets play in the Northern Rivers Rugby League competition and play on sunday afternoons. Going to the local sunday afternoon game is a ritual for most Kingscliff resident's as Rugby League is the area's biggest sport.
